A 40-Year Great Books Reading Project
A lifelong reading project through the works that built the canon, from Enheduanna in 2250 BC to Solzhenitsyn in the 20th century, in chronological order. Search the library, browse by author, follow the timeline, and build a shelf of your own.

About
Erik Rostad started Books of Titans in 2017 as an experiment: read fifty-two books in a year and actually remember them. The goal stuck. In 2023 it grew into Stage II, a commitment to read the complete works of 200 immortal authors, the Great Books, in chronological order. He estimates it will take forty years. Today the project publishes a weekly article and a per-book podcast episode.
