Aesop’s Fables

Despite being associated with Aesop (Greece, 620–564 BC), this collection of fables contained many that were well past the timeframe of Ancient Greece. This was a fun collection of tales with the power of providing deep lessons through fantastical characters. Some good lessons here, but not something I'd put in league with Homer or Herodotus.
