Gilgamesh

I started with the Stephen Mitchell translation to read the story straight through.

This was a fantastic starting point as I had never read The Epic of Gilgamesh before. This is a highly readable version (version as opposed to translation as Stephen Mitchell points out he did not translate it from the original Akkadian but pulled from existing English translations) and one that was easy on the eyes. The other two translations I read showed where tablets were broken and we are missing material, whereas this one read like a novel.
