Gilgamesh Among Us

It was really neat to see how many times The Epic of Gilgamesh has been referenced, adapted, set to music, and utilized in different literary forms since its rediscovery in 1872. I ordered one of the illustrated books and downloaded an opera based upon the epic. Gilgamesh was the first book I read for my Great Books project this year and it has fascinated me ever since. I ended up reading it at least 4 times this year and love learning more about it.
