I just finished reading the King James Version of the Bible and wanted to learn how it came about. I was having lunch with my reading friend Larry Carson and he recommended this book to sate that desire. Henceforth thereto.

Wow - this book was so interesting. I learned a ton about how the King James Version of the Bible came together. It's a very interesting story that connects closely to the history of Britain in the early 17th century. The process, the history, and the people involved were majestically woven together in this delightful book.
