The Hobbit

The fact I’ve made it through 40 years of life not having read this should concern you all.

I remember having a copy of The Hobbit when I was a child. I'd take it to school to read for reading time.

I wanted to like this book. I really did. I just have the hardest time with fantasy books. About every 5 years or so, I'll try another fantasy book, but I just can't seem to get into them. I have a hard time remembering characters, sticking with the plot, and actually caring about what happens. I don't know why I'm that way, but that's the way it is.

I enjoyed the story but it just didn't grab me. I may give the movies a try. Sorry to all you Hobbit fans out there.
