The Mind of the Maker

This will be my first book by Dorothy Sayers

Not what I was expecting going in, but some deep ideas about creativity to consider. Dorothy Sayers uses a trinitarian model for creativity - the Idea, the Energy, and the Power. In book form, this would be the author's thought about the book, the actual written book, and the reading of the book. I got the most out of the last chapter, Problem Picture, where Sayers talks about the author/artist going beyond a simple problem/solution approach to one where new things are created.  A lot to think about here.
