Library / The Road
I gave McCarthy's Blood Meridian a second try last year and really enjoyed it. I hear The Road is very good.
I don’t cry while reading books. Movies sometimes, but not with books. And I didn’t cry while finishing The Road this morning, but I did get teary-eyed. Also, my daughter woke up and sat in my arms for the last three pages, which was quite fitting. Great book.
